Carl Sagan Talking about God?

He seems to have died not knowing God. That breaks my heart. Please don't make the same mistake! When I was an engineering student at Vanderbilt, I listened to Carl give a speech on campus and I thought he was well-spoken and sounded intelligent. Today, I realize he was leading people away from the truth and he did not cite his sources of information, so there is no way for me to independently verify his claims about the universe. I also now question why the speech he gave to us college students was free. Who paid for his expenses? I do not know if Carl was knowingly misleading people or if he was misled himself. My opinion is that Carl had a good heart and he was likely very close to seeing the truth. I prayed to God that he give Carl, if possible, another chance.
