Revelation 6:1-2 KJV
And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see. And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.
~ ~ ~ ~The adversary perverted what God made. Sometimes we call it a "rainbow" but in the KJV Bible it is simply referred to as "bow".

I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth.
~ ~ ~ ~Revelation 6:2 was originally written in Greek, and people today who speak Greek use the word found in this verse, not for the weapon only, but for "rainbow".
